Privacy Policy

EveryCalculator is a calculation tool site. We do not require an account, we do not sell personal data, and the calculators themselves run without storing what you enter. This page sets out exactly what is processed, on what legal basis, and for how long.
1. Who is responsible
EveryCalculator operates this website and the language-specific subdomains at tr., de., and es.calculatorevery.com. We act as the data controller for the processing described below. Requests can be sent through the contact form, which is the fastest route for privacy matters.
2. What we process, and why
We keep the amount of data to the minimum needed to run and secure the site.
- Calculator inputs. Values you type into a calculator are processed to produce the result. They are not written to our database and not linked to you. Most calculations happen in your browser and never reach the server at all.
- Server logs. Standard web server records including IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, and user agent. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service available and defending against abuse.
- Contact form submissions. The name, subject, message, and optional contact detail you supply. Your IP address is stored only as an irreversible SHA-256 hash, used to detect abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or consent where you volunteer contact details.
- Cookie consent state. A single first-party cookie recording whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies. Legal basis: legal obligation to record consent.
We do not build profiles, we do not run fingerprinting, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from technical data.
3. Advertising
This site displays advertising supplied by Google AdSense, which is how it is funded. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads.
- Where consent has not been given, we instruct Google to serve non-personalised advertising only. Non-personalised ads still use contextual signals such as the page content and coarse location, and still require a cookie for frequency capping and fraud prevention.
- Where consent has been given, ads may be personalised based on your prior activity across sites that use Google advertising services.
- You can review and change Google's own advertising settings at myadcenter.google.com, independently of your choice here.
- Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy & Terms for partner sites.
4. Cookies
Only one cookie is strictly necessary: the record of your consent choice, which lasts 180 days. Everything else is set by the advertising provider and only after the corresponding consent state applies. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
5. How long data is kept
- Server logs: up to 90 days, then deleted or aggregated beyond recognition.
- Contact form submissions: up to 24 months from the last correspondence, then deleted.
- Consent cookie: 180 days, or until you clear it.
- Calculator inputs: not retained.
6. Who else sees the data
We use a hosting provider that processes data on our instructions, and Google as the advertising provider. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data, and we do not share it for any purpose other than those described here. Disclosure to authorities occurs only where legally required.
7. International transfers
Advertising processing by Google may involve transfers outside the European Economic Area. Google relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for such transfers.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, Turkey's KVKK, and comparable laws, you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that already took place.
Because we do not hold identifying information about ordinary visitors, we may be unable to locate data relating to you unless you have used the contact form. Where we cannot identify you, we will say so rather than ask for additional identifying documents. You have the right to complain to your national supervisory authority.
9. Children
This site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has submitted personal data through the contact form, tell us and we will delete it.
10. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. The contact form is protected against cross-site request forgery and automated submission, and IP addresses associated with submissions are stored only in hashed form. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
11. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. We recommend reviewing it periodically. Continued use of the site after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
